Eamonn Dorling Independent – Working for the local community

I have been married to Lesley for 33 years. I came to live locally from Suffolk 40 years ago and Lesley is originally from London. I am proud to say that both my daughters attended local schools and have been successful in their lives, between them they have blessed us with 4 grandchildren.

Up to May 2019 I served as a councillor in Delph Ward. Delph has been incorporated into the newly created Bassenhally Ward which is now served by 4 councillors after the May 2019 elections, of which I am one.

I do not believe there is room for Party Politics in local government, therefore I stood as an Independent Councillor so I can serve the local residents without constraint from any particular party views.

I am passionate about improving the town of Whittlesey, its infrastructure and supporting local businesses. I am a great believer in clean air and substainable initiatives to create a better enviroment for us and our children.
